NJ ACTS Receives 7-year Grant Renewal of $39.7M from NIH

Translating scientific discoveries into improved health in New Jersey and beyond

Dan Notterman, Professor of the Practice in Molecular Biology and Senior Advisor to the Provost for Biomedical Affairs, will continue to lead Princeton’s partnership in NJ ACTS with Rutgers, NJIT and RWJBarnabas Health to advance moving research discoveries into clinical practice and improve health care in New Jersey. 

Over the last 5 years, Princeton has benefited from opportunities, resources, expertise, and funding available through the Alliance. Seventeen faculty investigators across departments received NJ ACTS collaborative pilot research awards, while seven postdocs and five doctoral students received translational science fellowship awards.
